Nel 2024 è stato superato, per la prima volta, il limite di 1,5°C di aumento della temperatura terrestre, soglia critica fissata dagli Accordi di Parigi. Un campanello d’allarme che non possiamo più ignorare. Ogni secondo conta, e ogni gesto può contribuire a cambiare rotta. Per questo Greenpeace lancia il suo Decalogo, un manifesto di scelte consapevoli che ogni cittadino può adottare per invertire il countdown climatico e difendere la vita sul nostro pianeta.
Le 10 Regole per la Rivoluzione Verde
1. Fai la tua rivoluzione energetica
Scegli fornitori di energia da fonti rinnovabili, passa a elettrodomestici efficienti e illumina la casa con lampadine LED: risparmi fino all’80% di energia e riduci l’impatto ambientale.
2. Dipingiti di verde quando ti muovi
Dimentica l’auto privata, quando puoi: cammina, pedala o prendi mezzi pubblici. Se devi guidare, privilegia un’auto elettrica.
3. Mangia come farebbe tua nonna
Evita cibi ultra-processati e industriali. Torna alla dieta mediterranea: stagionale, biologica e locale. E lascia perdere la frutta tropicale fuori stagione.
4. Riduci carne e derivati
Gli allevamenti intensivi devastano ambiente e salute. Passa a una dieta vegetale o consuma carne biologica, locale e in quantità moderate.
5. Scegli pesce sostenibile
La pesca industriale sta prosciugando gli oceani. Meglio il pesce locale e artigianale, o – ancora meglio – opta per alternative vegetali.
6. Proteggi le foreste con i tuoi acquisti
Riduci carta e imballaggi, scegli solo prodotti con carta riciclata post-consumo. Ogni albero salvato è ossigeno per il futuro.
7. Compra meno, scegli meglio
Fast fashion e consumismo sfrenato ci stanno soffocando. Punta su qualità, durevolezza, moda sostenibile, riparabilità e second hand.
8. Disegna un mondo senza plastica
Dì addio al monouso: borracce, bicchieri veri, sacche riutilizzabili, prodotti sfusi e ricaricabili. Ogni rifiuto evitato è una vittoria per il mare.
9. Impegnati per l’ambiente
Firma petizioni, partecipa a campagne locali e globali, supporta chi protegge il territorio. La tua voce è un megafono per la natura.

Greenpeace è sotto attacco: la compagnia petrolifera Energy Transfer, legata a Donald Trump, ha intentato una causa da oltre 660 milioni di dollari. Una condanna che minaccia non solo l’organizzazione, ma anche la libertà di tutte le voci che si oppongono ai crimini ambientali.
In questo scenario, donare il 5×1000 non è solo un gesto fiscale, ma un atto politico. “Non possiamo permettere che chi distrugge il Pianeta metta a tacere chi lo difende”, ricorda Giuseppe Onufrio, Direttore Esecutivo di Greenpeace Italia.
Perché il futuro ha bisogno di scelte radicali
Foreste rase al suolo, mari inquinati, biodiversità al collasso, api in estinzione, eventi climatici estremi. Ma anche: comunità indigene che resistono in Amazzonia, attivisti che solcano i mari, leggi per fermare gli allevamenti intensivi, soluzioni concrete per una transizione ecologica giusta.
Greenpeace è in prima linea, ma ha bisogno del nostro sostegno. E la prima mossa è nelle nostre mani.

- Eat like your grandmother would Avoid ultra-processed and industrial foods. Go back to the Mediterranean diet: seasonal, organic, and local. And skip out on tropical fruits out of season.
- Reduce meat and animal products Intensive farming devastates both the environment and health. Switch to a plant-based diet or consume organic, local, and moderate amounts of meat.
- Choose sustainable fish Industrial fishing is depleting our oceans. Opt for local, artisanal fish or, even better, choose plant-based alternatives.
- Protect forests with your purchases Reduce paper and packaging, choose only products made from post-consumer recycled paper. Every tree saved is oxygen for the future.
- Buy less, choose better Fast fashion and rampant consumerism are choking us. Focus on quality, durability, sustainable fashion, repairability, and second-hand.
- Design a world without plastic Say goodbye to single-use items: reusable bottles, real cups, reusable bags, bulk and refillable products. Every piece of waste avoided is a victory for the sea.
- Commit to the environment Sign petitions, participate in local and global campaigns, support those protecting the land. Your voice is a megaphone for nature.
